Perhaps... I've never had a father. As you probably know from Hypnos. But we were made from stardust and the night sky and born into this world. Just one of Mother Nyx's many children but likely the the two she spent the most time with. The rest all went on their own way rather quickly. Like my sisters, the Fates.
Olympian fathers leave very little to be desired. So, I don't have a good grasp on what on what one would constitute as someone who is worthy of being looked up to in that regard.
[ She falls back into the steps easy enough. Music and dance is like second nature to her, after all, and so she hardly misses a beat. ]
Yeah, he told me something like that. [ She remembers being told he was formed of stardust. It explained a lot, in the beginning, about his struggles with his faux mortality and confusion about basic things. She had also heard about Mother Nyx but... She was biased, perhaps, due to her fondness for Hypnos but she did want to have words with his mother about her treatment of him over what she did know. ]
Well, mine also wasn't... the best. [ That's putting it lightly. ] So, I wouldn't know personally but- Seteth is caring. Kind. Compassionate. He worries for Flayn's safety. Even if it can be a bit much at times, well- It's just obvious how much he cares and doesn't want anything bad to happen to her if he can help it. He's also older and wiser for his experiences, which is a trait more associated with fatherhood than not. Life experience and all that.
But I think what a lot of people like, myself included, is that he knows how to listen. He knows how to let you speak and really pay attention to what you say and... It goes a long way sometimes, honestly, just to be heard.
